I'm starting to worry I may be about to get raped by the fact that my IDE 110 class has no homework, and the tests are bitches....does anyone know if it's too late in the semester to change sections (and instructors) for classes yet? Or would I basically be starting the new section with a score of zero points?
You're pretty much locked in by now, in my opinion. You'd have to get a signature by both your professor and the professor which you are transferring to, and I doubt that you'd be able to get the latter.

Also all the other non-Raney sections of IDE 110 have been full since the beginning of the semester. I had a hell of a time trying to swap sections during the first week of classes.

2. It's still possible to swtich, howver you'd have to negotiate how to transfer the grades. Most likely your current grades would stand, but the rest would be what you make of them.
I know he curves like mad, and I made out like a bandit on the first test because of it. I suspect I'm screwed for the second test, though, just cos the problems seemed a bit too twisted compared to the examples we'd previously covered; I understood the concepts and tools I needed to solve the problems, but couldn't figure out how to bring them to bear, or set the problems up. And I'm worried about this happening again on test 3 and 4, so I figured I'd have more luck with a prof who assigns homework.....that way, if I'm thrown a curveball, I have some time to figure out what the hell to do with it.
