I just visited home (Plano, TX; westside bitches) and found out that Verizon has layed down fiber to every home in my neighborhood. Superfast and cheap.

FiOS Internet prices:
$34.95 5Mbps/2Mbps
$44.95 15Mbps/2Mbps
$179.95 30Mbps/15Mbps

TimeWarner, the cable provider, currently offers 4Mbps down for $52.95 plus modem rental and taxes.

Verizon is also offering Digital TV and phone via the same fiber connection.

I'd kill someone for 2Mbs up! But then again, I'd kill someone for a cinnabon.

That is why you should always fly through St. Louis Airport... they have a Cinnabon right next to a bar. Best thing to consume pre-flight.

+1.

More airports need Cinnabons, especially after I got an overpriced, stale, disgusting pretzel from some place at Laguardia. Last thing you want to happen to you after your flight back home gets delayed an hour is to piss away that much money on bad food.

Although we did get to watch the cops haul a couple drunk guys off a plane that had just landed, that was fun.

The one next to the Burger King in American's gates? That place is ridiculously expensive! Good, but not worth the price.

The clear winner here: KCI Airport. They have Cinnabon right next to Arthur Bryant's BBQ--one of the very best in a city known for its barbecue. Now THAT's some pre-flight dining.

Agree!! Eat some of that BBQ and you will sleep on your flight like a baby.
