I have spent the past 2 hours trying to get this to work, and this has left me pretty pissed off. So if the typing is bad, the mood is irate, or the text is offensive, deal with it.

I am trying to capture video with a GeForce FX 5600. The drivers are installed, but I can't get a picture of anything but black to come up when I try to capture. The signal is composite video, and I have tried to use AMCap and Fx Vid Cap on the software side. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this could be happening (hardware or software)?

It is part of a dongle, so I am assuming some versions didn't have it.

After a quick gander at Nvidia's website. that model line does not appear to have any video input options. It does have a special encoder chip for TV Output which allow you to squeeze a better picture out of a Standard Definition TV.
