So I need 1 more humanities or social science. I already have the upper level req out of the way (take Etymolgoy 306).

Anyways, I'm looking at taking a class or two through Meramec this fall. Would anyone be able to recommend a class they took. I only need one, but figured if they are easy and/or not time consuming (Com 107 counts as Speech 85 and it was not time consuming at all), I might as well take two for the GPA boost :-)

ThX

Take Psych 50 here with Dr. Canu. Easy class, and it's actually pretty interesting.

I agree with you, although I took it with Dr. Nelson, still very easy class.

I don't think Psych 50 can be hard... but it is an interesting class. Introduction to Logic is really easy too, if you're more into discrete math type stuff than learning vocabulary.

If you're thinking about taking a class through Meramec I would definitely recommend psych 200 with Dr. Terry Cooper (transfers into psych 50 at Rolla). I took it over the summer it was one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. You'll have no homework, a $7 handbook that the teacher wrote (so no $50+ textbooks), and our class only had two tests. The tests are all 50 question multiple choice/true false and about 10 of the questions on the test are joke questions that are impossible to get wrong that the teacher put on the tests to help "relieve test anxiety". For the fall semester though I think you'll have three tests, but those three tests make up your entire grade. We were also scheduled two times a week from 6-9:20 and we got out every night by 8:30-8:45. And even though everything in this class is so easy you'll actually learn because the teacher keeps the lectures and class discussions interesting. Anyways he should be teaching another intro psych class for the fall semester. I took the class at the west county Meramec campus, but I think he teaches there and the main campus.
