So you're saying that "nothing exploded, and there it was" is a more rational and scientific explanation than "some higher being created the world out of nothing"? To quote you, "just because you don't believe in creation doesn't mean it's not true."

Actually, according to the Catholic Church and the Pope the Big Bang theory is the best explaination to the creation of the universe, just that god caused the Big Bang.

So, if you believe that the pope, one of the most conservative religious organizations in the world, scientists or basically the majority of the rest of the world knows anything at all, the question becomes did god start the big bang or something else. NOT whether or not the big bang happened. I am not saying that the Big Band Theory should not be questioned or tested, but it is the most likely theory that is currently proposed.
