I am interested in selling a very good gaming computer that is custom built. I have a full metal Thermaltake case with all the fans and lights already installed. It has a AMD athlon 3400+ processor, 512 mg of ram. it has an 80 gig hard drive. it has an ATI Radeon All in Wonder video card which plays all the new games with good graphics perfectly and you can also watch TV with it because it comes with a TV tuner. I have all the software for all the parts and it is a hassle free machine and is about a year old. It has never crashed and all the parts and every single aspect of the computer is in good shape. I am asking $650 for the machine but am willing to negotiate reasonably.

FYI, that price is really out of line. You can build a new one with those specs or better for less than 500.

Ditto. I would hardly consider 512 megs, an 80 gig hard drive, and an all-in-wonder card (which, last time I checked, their GPU's aren't quite up to par with ATI's other cars) a very good gaming computer.

I just built one new for $600

3800+ AMD
2GB Corsair RAM
x800 ATI Video Card
600watt PSU
ASUS Motherboard
...and all the other standard crap.

When did you build your computer? They depreciate in value very quickly. There are probably some new students looking for a good computer still, but you are going to want to drop that price a few hundred dollars.

I built this computer about a year ago and yes it is a good gaming computer because the processor and my video card can handle all the new games perfectly. and about the hard drive, i just put in an 80 gig hard drive on top of a 250 gig SATA hard drive that is already installed in the machine. And if anyone has a problem with the ram, and if they knew anything about computers, they would know that its only a 60 or 70 dollar upgrade to a Gig of ram. And as i said i would be reasonable in negotiating. $650 is not my final price. It is just what i was hoping to get since i spent about $1600 in parts about 13 months ago. so if anyone is still interested, give me a reasonable price. And also, all the parts are still in warranty

its an ATI Radeon 9600+ video card. its an AGP 8x video card. it has a 128mg of video memory and a built in TV tuner and it comes with an Audio/Video converter cable and I still have all the TV software for TivO and all that. Like I said, its a really good computer. Im just selling it so I can get a laptop. Im not much of a gamer anymore so I dont really need a machine like this. Its overkill for me. So please give me reasonable prices if you are interested. Thanks a lot.

I would really like to sell the computer all together and not part it out. But if you just want the hard drive, i am willing to sell that for around 70 dollars. It comes with the cable and again its a 250 gig SATA hard drive. I would really just like to sell the computer all together though. I am now willing to sell the machine for 550 dollars with everything including a brand new HP optical mouse, a Microsoft MultiMedia keyboard, and a 5 speaker surround sound Logitech speaker set with subwoofer. The speaker set alone was $130 so 550 dollars for a gaming tower and all that is a very good deal.

let me also mention that my case, which comes in the $550 price is a thermaltake ATX full tower. And it has pre installed LED lighting, fan controls, temperature displays, and a 450 W power supply. I bought the case alone for a $160. So I hope you guys understand that all of this is a good buy for $550. And I have decided that I will wait a day or two before I decide to sell the parts individually cause I just want to sell the computer as a whole.

It might just be me, but I doubt you are going to be able to pull anything on this crowd.

I'm gonna have to concur. I'd venture a guess that you may be able to get 300-400 max if you sell it all together. Probably would be better off parting it out.
