Ok, today I recieved 40 spam emails all at once in my minermail inbox. I hardly ever get spam and I dont give out my email. Has anyone else's minermail been spaminated today?

There was an issue with the exchange servers where it stopped delivering mail. Once it was fixed, there was a huge backlog of e-mail and they all got dumped in the proper inboxes without going through spamassassin. I think they're still working on it, so more spam may be on the way.

I have a better idea: How about UMR doesn't post email address in raw text on the directory. :/

Yep, getting a crapload of e-mails from Vegas Lounge. Once I asked to be removed the amount of e-mails I get from them doubled.

Same here with the Vegas Lounge. I bet if you ask to be removed, they see that as proof that your email exists, so they send you more. Who knows. It's much better than it used to be though. Last year I would get 10 emails a day for "fr33 s0ftw4re."

Oooh, fr33 1337 s0ftw4re. Anyway, I'm just tired of them. I was always happy that my minermail account stayed relatively free of spam except for the occaisional, "You have claim to a share of $1,000,000,000!!!!"

Ya I only get that lottery one about twice a semester. Not much spam for me. ^^

i get it twice monthly.

I win the lottery every day and twice on sunday. If they were legitimate, I'd start thinking I was Chuck Norris. Please note that i don't get it just becuase i'm that lucky. I just get that much email that probability allows it.
