Moving away from college? Don't need your bike anymore? I need one and I'd love to buy a used one instead of splashing out on a new one.

I'd like a regular sized one, not one of those tiny stunt bikes or one of those huge thin soccer mom bikes either, thanks

Thin soccer mom bikes? Do you mean road bikes?

I pretty much mean a bike with normal sized wheels, not the skinny tired ones or the fat stuntbike ones. Here is an idea:

So what your saying is you want a Mountain bike and not a BMX or Road bike.

i can't understand the appeal of mountain bikes on the road. they're called mountain bikes and road bikes for a reason. at the very least people should get rid of the knobby tires. they do nothing useful going around campus. and don't even get me started on the shocks...

I have one called a "hybrid", though I suppose to most people it would be a mountain bike. I need to fix part of it, but I would be willing to sell it if the price was decent.

Looks about like this:

Wow that's a friggin excellent price. Let's meet up and do this.

Edit: how many gears does it have, just for info, also i'd love a pic

Also dash I'll entertain your offer if this guy falls through or if his bike is so old it has a huge front wheel and a tiny back wheel like the ones old foppish english dandies used to drive

I'd second getting a hybrid bike. They're more rugged than a road bike but still roll smoother than a MTB. If you've ever ridden a road bike, which I assume you haven't, you'd realize how much of a difference it makes.

I've gone mountain biking on my folding bike that doesn't even have shocks...you really feel more of a "connection" to the ground that way... heh

Yes, that makes sense. Can anyone offer a 'hybrid',if you will, under $50?

Only shitty bikes sell for that orice if you want a good one stick with name brands like trek, giant, marlin, specialized, gary fisher... useually it is best to stay away from mongoose unless they are in good line up, most are cheap suspensions, again stick with name brands here too... And expect to pay at least $100 used for your "non shitty" bike, it will be a good investment though. I have got the specialized listed here for sale if you are interested
