The word "bi-partisan" usually means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out.
Damn...be happy with what you have. That's why people who complain about rolla suck. People have it worse than you!
The sad thing is, even as true as your statement might be, saying, "People have it worse than you!" implies that in some small capacity, we have it bad too. We do not. We are more fortunate than most will ever come to realize.
And one where the majority of the govenrment and public are not corrput and actually care. I'm not saying that our government is great, but at least it isn't run by bribes, like it is in Mexico...
the way its presented is to make you feel as though youre WAY better off than you are. Im not denying that Americans have it better than practically anybody else; however, "if you have a bank account... you're one of the richest 30 people in the world" is deceptive. 30% of the people in the world have a bank account, thats pretty good. But "Richest 30" still causes people to think of the world as 6billion. "Wow i have a bank account! Take that Bill Gates!"
bunch of liberal bs if you ask me.
note: im not denying any of the facts they have in there, just the Michael Mooreish way they were presented.

It was merely an obvious attempt to make you somehow feel "guilty" for being well off.
And yet when one brings up free trade, which is usually the best ticket out of poverty that the poorer nations have, you'll get ridiculed as an evil capitalist exploiter of poor people.
And as for the military expenditures vs. foreign aid: How much money have we poured into Africa? How has that changed the poverty rate there?

Why should we give foreign aid?
