No, I'm not advertising, I seriously want honest to God feedback on the style and presentation. Right now I'm using WordPress because it's easy to use, free, and I don't have a damn clue as to how to build and upload a website. I know that many consider it not all that hard, but it's still relatively out of my reach at this point. Currently I'm using one of the themes that was available on WordPress' website, but I'm open to suggestions. If anyone has experience with the program and would like to help me with a few things I'm curious about (namely more prominent RSS feed buttons, how to even up the Google ad bar at the top, how to modify themes for style, and not just content, how to work with search engine robots, etc.), I'd love the support.

I like the colors.

It lacks a certain shinyness, and the google ad bar is off-center. :P

I have to say I am not a big fan of the colors. The green is way too bright. Not that my wordpress blog is much better...

Things I noticed
- You have to log in to post a comment. Not only is this annoying, I can find nowhere to even register

- I am not sure what the "Storage" section on the nav bar is for. I assume its a link to old posts in which case "Archive" is more of an apt title

1. the shade of green you use hurts my eyes, but I also despise that specific shade.
2. I don't know where to register to be able to post a comment at, a link directly below/near the login link would be nice.
3. You should probably move your internal links up on the side to where a viewer does not have to scroll down to see them.
4. Your google ads hang off the left side of your content area when viewed in Mozilla. I don't know if they do it in other browsers, mainly because I am too lazy to care.

You need a fluid layout that will expand to fill the browser.
Here is what it's doing right now.

Not bad, but I would recommend flipping the green and black in the background, and let the black go the full page [instead of how the green now stops at the top]. I say this because you have a lot of white and light colored text... this will offset some of this for better contrast. Other than that, just tone the green down a little on the text [it is actually bright].

Hey, what about our website?

Turn down your text size...

Not everyone has great vision. A website that can't scale with a text size increase is broken.

I'd like to know how to do that, but as of now, I'm clueless.

Ah, thought I had changed all those around. Obviously
not. That should be changed to Archive in about 5 minutes. I'll check out the register problem. Guess I thought that it was included anyway. Oh well.

1.) I'll toy with the shade of green a bit. I liked the layout for its simplicity (and to be honest, the color of green caught my eye).
2.) Yeah, I'm checking out the register problem as I type this. Thanks for the heads up.
3.) I'll fix that now.
4.) Yeah, I'd like to fix that, but I don't know how. I'm checking that out now, too.

How do I go about doing that in HTML?

I like your website very much. Simple and well laid out. Thanks for the suggestion of flipping the green and black. I'll try that and see what happens.

Yes, I agree, and I'd like to fix that. Anyone that knows how and could help, I'd really appreciate it.

Its just a problem with the layout of the theme. It would be hard to fix without changing the theme. If you like your current theme, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I'm not too set on this theme, just of the ones on WordPress' website, I liked this one. I'm always up to change.

Oh, and registration should be up, and there should be some slight changes made to ordering of the sidebar. More changes to come.

I am not sure why you would want people to register to post a comment. I would allow anyone to post a comment.

Well, I may be getting ahead of myself, but spam bots are so prevalent nowadays that this is a precautionary measure.
