So since I heard their bitrates have been improved to a decent quality, I decided to try out Cdigix.
I downloaded their player system they require, and after about 20 tries, and several hours, and an initial host of error messages, I managed to get signed up and verified and what not, but now when I open the ctrax thing and try to log in, it gives an error

***Sorry, an error occured signing you in. "Invalid Argument", "Value cannot be null. Parameter name: MachineId" ***

I emailed Cdigix a couple days ago and have gotten no response from their supposed "customer support"

My initial belief that this company SUCKS ASS is so far being proven correct, has anyone had this same problem, and how do I fix it?

Im looking for free, is the thing, and Cdigix is supposed to be free (other than the money they sap from the university which I indirectly pay for)

CDigix is the biggest piece of shit ever. I'd be more surprised if it actually did work for you

Email them a few more times. When I had technical problems with it, they replied pretty promptly (the first time).

Do they support Firefox yet?

It's now a stand-alone program, much like iTunes.

Also, for those of you who would like a *legal* solution to removing copy protection from songs downloaded via cdigix, check out a program called 'Tunebite.' It basically re-records the song (at 4x) and re-saves it. No quality is lost.

You know where to find it. ;)
