Two semesters ago me and a friend of mine saw a barbecue commercial, and decided why not start our own club that focuses on the consumption of such food. So last semester we wrote down a constitution, recruited members, took some surveys, and went through the process of getting recognized as a club. Well we are a CLUB now, and on top of that we are the only BBQ CLUB in the Nation that if directly affiliated with a University.

Well the reason I am writing this post is to get feedback from the rest of the school, and ideas for future events. One thing I was thinking about was an Intramural BBQ Cook-off.

So please feel free to post replies.

well, we could have a huuge bbq with different types of foods. corn on the cob, pizza, the usual burgers, and pretty much anything you can think of.

How about somebody start an alcohol club and then both clubs could have meetings together? Heck, there could be an international convention here during St. Pats.

I'm more of Gates man myself, but I think we would hit both in one trip.
