I bought XP brand new when i was in HIGH SCHOOL and i don't think it was even $75 back then!

Yes, it is home edition

I looked on staples website and they are selling it for $200. I bought it for $82 from mwave.
I can go down to $50, but thats about it.

or you could go lower, and possibly sell it. See, most people here have a source for windows already, be it MSDNAA or otherwise. Supply and Demand.

I've got 4 keys total off of the MSDNAA thing.
3 XP Pro 32-bit (One CD, One SP1 ISO, One SP2 ISO)
1 XP Pro 64-bit (One CD)

I got the two CDs (one 32- and 64-bit) for $15 last year, and I can still buy more.

However, looking for XP for my parents just this last break, the best deal for XP Home was over $85. I wish Vista didn't suck so much so XP could drop in price. =/
