What is wrong with Joe Miner? Its definatley better than the Rivermen (or whatever UMSL's mascot is)

He could be a bit less metrosexual, but I certainly don't think we need a completely new mascot.

At the press release the Chancellor said that there would be no mascot change. Hopefully I'm not set up for being lied to.

Well, I have personally been told that there is no plan nor even a desire to consider changing the mascot. Even with all the changes and the planned research there is no intention of considering a new mascot. If that is not enough...well...then nothing is other than a signed statement...and even that doesnt really mean anything if you dont want to give it any credence.
