I have a laptop that I don't use anymore. But . . . the reason I don't use it anymore is I got into a fight with my ex and he wiped everything off of it. I do have all of the hardware for it still, but I just haven't installed it yet. It's a 2002 Dell Inspiron and was a pretty good laptop before the 'incident.'
I don't know if you would be interested in it or not, but let me know either way.

A 2650. I have to put a warning on here about some of the wear and tear. On the top of the laptop where it connects with the hinges it's starting to crack. I managed to marginally fix it with super glue, but it's still kind of broken. I just wanted to let everyone know.

What a dick, unless of course you had compromising photos of him on there, then I could understand....

you know, in some cases - a lot of that data should be recoverable (assuming he just erased the table of contents), unless he spent 3 hours and zero filled it (which would be a little silly after a fight)

No but I did have all of my downloaded music and movies on there along with personal family pictures and papers I needed for my teacher portfolio. So yeah it was pretty shitty of him. But I have a new, shiny laptop so it's ok. Now I just need to get rid of the old one.
No he spent the three hours to delete everything off of it. Now all I get is a black screen.
