I kid you not, some guy took my laundry out of the one dryer I was using. There were 3 open dryers. Mine had been sitting in there for all of 5-7 minutes... holy christ. What a douche bag.

One time someone took out my laundry.... and then folded it neatly and left it on the table....

Sooooo, to whoever that was, thanks! (and can you do that every week?)

Honestly, if you leave your laundry running without you watching it, you are allowing a time when anyone can jack with your laundry. It's smarter to sit in the laundry room since in the real world.. .that's what ya gotta do at a laundromat

If there's no open dryers I'll pull the coldest clothes out.

I'm not saying that you were the douchebag in this particular case, but it's not that hard to remember to go down and get your clothes, people.

I'm fine with that - but my clothes were hot on the table when I got there. It's not like they had been there for 20 minutes - we're talking right around 5. As an aside, the guy's clothes are sitting in the dryer right now, cold.

It depends. If there are no open (functional) dryers and someone has left their clothes in one for over 15 minutes or so, they're going on a table. Not on the floor. And if you walk in and find someone pulling out your clothes after quite a while of them having been done, you shouldn't have the right to yell at them.

The above is just a general statement; it doesn't apply necessarily to your case. Just sayin'.

I disagree, there are tons of white trash people who leave their clothes unattended at the laundramat....

When i was in the dorms, i would leave my clothes unattended, but i knew exactly how long it took for them to wash and how long i put them in the dryer for, and i would come back right when they should be done. Anyway, i think i was 2 or 3 minutes late in getting down there one time, and in that short period, someone took my wet clothes out of the washer they were in and just piled them up on the folding table, and loaded up the washer with their shit. I was absolutely pissed about that. Not so much that my clothes were taken out, but that they couldnt even wait 5 minutes to see if anyone was gonna come for 'em. And i knew that there were other washers that had had clothes just sitting in them for far longer than mine were. If i'd had anything really dirty or muddy, on me or in my room, i would have come back and just dumped a load of shit in with the spin cycle after everything had been washed and drained.

If I needed a dryer, and they are all taken, I would look for one where the clothes were actually dry, remove the clothes and fold them. If the clothes were still damp, I'd leave them for the person, because no one likes mildewed clothes.

I'd hope other people would od the same, but I can see why most wouldn't (cause it would require actually being nice).

There is a difference between being nice and seeing all of the machines full and having the same clothes sitting in them for multiple hours. Sometimes I spread out loads over a couple days, and I will see the same clothes there day after day. Honestly, how the fuck do you forget you have laundry?
