A couple of guys that live around me bought a keyboard/mouse set from newegg for $10 after rebate, free shipping. Might wanna look into it.

I would go with the $10 one. I know someone who did that and likes it very much. Plus, this Goldfiles guy looks a little shady. The name Goldfiles sounds like he's just around the corner with a knife. I don't know...

I think I'm gonna rule out the ball mouse. I need something with Optical.

And yes, I do spend most of my time hanging out just around the corner.....with a knife.
