Also, is the CD needed for EE281 or is the CD just an added bonus with your book?

I don't think you have to have the book. No problems are worked out of it, and it is a pretty useless piece of crap. Also, what is the ISBN? I looked up the book from last year here and it was some very poor reviews and is different than the book that was used a few semesters ago.
