So windows is corrupt on my friend's lap. I haven't ever actually seen a laptop harddrive, I would assume they use the same IDE or SATA standards as traditional drives, but on a different form factor. Is this correct? Does anyone have an adapter for IDE so that I can help get these files off?
you need an adapter to use laptop hdds.
I had one but it went home last weekend.
