Does anyone know what they're building next to Dairy Queen? It's going up pretty quick and I was just curious...

I would assume so. Alas, it would be nice to have something new there.

They have a picture inside of Dairy Queen of what the new one will look like. It's pretty slick. The current one's kind of nasty.

Dairy Queen "Grill & Chill"

Looks good to me. The old one is... old.

lol... not a fan of the add-on drive thru?

Hopefully they'll keep the food-prep areas cleaner in the new DQ than in the old one. I haven't been there this semester, but I recall in the past going there a few times and wondering if they could fit all the health code violations onto one sheet should the health inspector decide to do a surprise visit.

I don't think that they keep all that clean. I know a couple of friends that have gotten food poisoning from there.

I believe that yours is already the unanimous opinion.

Didn't know anybody ever got sick from there. The only problem I've had was that they microwave the gravy/sauce and it gets kinda... jiggly. And gravy shouldn't be described as jiggly.

Besides, Maid-Rite has better ice cream, and it's cheaper too. The best malt in town. Also the greasiest fried food in town.
