Thanks for posting yet another thread, instead of using the other ones.

it just seems to get progressively worse everyday. ping is insane, i am trying to download drivers for my PC which i just formated and i am getting 3kb/s down and i had better luck with dial up. i think the server has way to much load and needs better distribution and an extra internet line. i mean we just added one of the biggest classes since what 86? that says hey we need to consider expanding more than just buildings. i live in res college 2 and they way under planned alot of stuff here i think.

Yeah, I bought TF2 off steam earlier today. I'm now getting an amazing 6kb/s and it's stuck at 68% for god knows how long. It'd be great if i could play it by the end of the month... :x

You are part of the problem. Since orange box came out, bandwidth has decreased rapidly because of all you nubbins downloading it. It is being worked on as we speak though.

Actually, orange box is the problem. I guarantee you all the kids downloading orange box has a bigger impact than just myself. AND considering I haven't really been on the intertubez for the past four or five days, I'd say yeah. I'm not blaming anyone, I'm just saying that a major chunk of bandwidth has gone to orange box.

edit: I guess I did say 'you are part of the problem' but I didn't mean it as it sounds.

All you have to do is copy the .gcf files for it from someone else's steam directory if it's activated on your account, it's not hard people. Not everyone has to download it, assuming you have friends.

yeah, sometimes the netter-tubes is super slow, like slow enough that it hardly works. i really don't like the new system they've got.

All of a sudden, Fidelity doesn't seem so bad.
