Are the desks in Holtman freestanding or are they attached to the wall like they are in TJ North? I'm moving to Holtman in the spring and I'm trying to figure out my layout.

Back when i lived there they were not attatched to anything. Makes for som egood pranks. Highly recommend putting the beds on either side of the windows, and the desks at the end of them looking outside. Or, put the desk facing the wall so you can watch the TV in the center closet.

They are still not attached to anything. Just be wary of the desk chairs and the closet doors. I don't think ya'll got the same chairs in tj. These don't lean back or have cushions. I would recomend either getting your own or getting some sort of pad. Also, the closet doors get kind of annoying because they are the folding-door type (I don't know the official name for them), and they don't come off. When opened, the doors jut out about 6-7 inches. If your desk is right next to the door as mine is, it cuts off the entranceway when you're at your desk.

You're going back to the dorms? We have an open room over here if you want it.
