I disconnected from the VPN, clicked on your link.... and it didn't work. I guess it hasn't been mentioned in this thread that you can get access so long as you use the MST VPN.

Working now with either 1234 or 8080. A bit choppy like limited, but the resets are not happening.

VPN still gives better performance.

Here on 8080 with no problems. Doesn't seem any slower than any of the other sites I visit.

Off campus works but I agree it is a little bit slower. Hopefully it doesn't crawl to a stop during peak times. I guess we shall see.

EDIT: Seems a bit snappier now that I have been logged on for a bit, maybe the problem was at my end.

It is noticeably slower than other forums (not using VPN). Can anything be done about this?

Try posting at the begining of each hour when the bandwidth shaper resets.

Did you guys talk to Karl about maybe getting an exemption from the traffic shaper? Might be pushing your luck though....
