I actually thought this was an april fools joke and was playing around. I talked to UPD about something unrelated today and asked about this. At about 12:45 last night they were informed by central told to pick up the two individuals for an undisclosed reason last night, being berto (robert) and chankster. They believe they are connected to a mass piracy ring around multiple college campuses. Hopefully it turns out to be a mistake.

So much for happiness and rainbows.

I concur. I went to bail out Chank last night, and they said bail was around $10k. Since I obviously couldn't afford it, they wouldn't tell me exactly what he was charged with, but given Seek's shady past, RIAA may be looking to set an example around here.

In the meantime, we should all start scouting a good lawyer for these guys.
