Kind of a random observation/question... the last few days, Facebook has been murdering FF2. By murdering I mean that when I load a Facebook page, there is a point where FF completely stops responding to input and the little loading circle animation in the corner of the tab stops moving, then it comes back to life. It lasts probably from 0.5 to 2 seconds, and it happens with every page I've loaded on Facebook.
I haven't changed my config at all, went back and cleared my cache/history/etc seeing if it was just FF being lame on its own. Is anyone else having a similar issue? Does anyone have a solution?

The word "bi-partisan" usually means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out.
I've had this happen on several different pages, not just Facebook. I think it's just Firefox waiting overlong for a timeout and not getting one. Of course, I know next to nothing about networking, so I doubt I'm right.

A good guess, but probably not it. Firefox is heavily event based and doesn't spend much time blocking or busy waiting. It is possible though that Facebook is loading up some bad/inefficient/intensive javascript and it's being executed and it is blocking/busy waiting. But then I'd put the fault more on Facebook - still a bit on FF for only having one true thread of execution
