<random unprovoked rant>

I'm so glad the "Happy Holidays" PC bullshit has ended. I was a cashier in retail two years ago when that nonsense started to erupt. I told customers Happy Holidays because it rolls off the tongue when you're trying to shove people in and out. Some customers threw a bitch fit that I didn't inject Christmas into my well-wishing and asked if Sears had "told me what to say." As if stores actually instruct employees on what to say to customers... nobody gave half a shit then and nobody does now. So I looked at them like they had molested an infant and began to help the next customer.

Plus, my idea of "holidays" was Christmas and New Years, so blow it out your collective ass, white middle-aged female christian last-minute shoppers from two years ago. I'll say whatever I damn well please. To some people today is Christmas, to others it's Karl Rove's birthday, but who cares honestly.

Happy Holidays. :mrgreen:

I did the same thing. Happy Holidays is a cover-all for anything from thanksgiving to new years. There's so many holidays in that month and a half it's just easier.
