I have a 2.8GHZ Intel socket 775 Pentium 4 CPU with 800MHZ FSB and would like to trade it for a socket 939 motherboard. I am not real picky about the motherboard but want it working well. Micro/MiniATX with integrated video is preferred but I am open to all options.

I don't have the Intel chip with me now but will try to get all the SL numbers and specs posted tonight. I believe this is a 1MB cache model.

I am TERRIBLE about checking back here so please e-mail me at cwatkin@mst.edu.

Thanks,

The CPU is a Pentium 4, 2.8GHZ 520J model with an SL number of SL7PR. See http://processorfinder.intel.com/detail ... Spec=SL7PR

Do you happen to have a motherboard with that CPU?

No, I do not have a motherboard for either of these CPUs so I am wanting to trade the Intel CPU in order to get a working MB for the AMD 939 unit.

Actually, I DO have a MB for the Intel 2.8 but it doesn't work. It is in a Dell OptiPlex GX240 Case and the lights come on when power is applied but nothing happens. I have tested RAM, power supply, etc. but it seems to be the MB. The CPU is actually fine as this one came from another working system. This dead system had a 3.2GHZ that got moved to the old 2.8GHZ system. I will be happy to throw in the case/MB combo if anyone has an AMD 939 MB for trade. The case is somewhat stripped for parts that were used in other working systems. It includes no heatsink/fan, RAM, HDD, optical drive, etc. I have a few parts I could throw in to make it as complete as possibly but they are limited.
