and for speakers I have 2 sets of Phillips FW890P's Running surround Sound over SPDIF: They also have Rear tweeters and a powered subwoofer each. (i know this is ghetto, but each speaker has a 4 way crossover, 2 sets of tweeters, mids and a woofer... the sound quality is amazing, and they were free.

A brand new build with a lot of upgrade potential to make it last a little longer.
NZXT Tempest EVO case with Ultra fan controller ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 mobo i7 920 stock (need better cooling system, but aiming for 4.0GHz) Sapphire Vapor-X (to OC later) HD5770 1GB 850W Corsair HX Seagate 250GB, 500GB internal Sata 3Gb/s Seagate FreeAgent 320GB WD 320GB eSATA 2.5" external 4GB XM3 Corsair DDR3 (hold me over until I can get at least 6GB of faster) LG IDE DVD-DL burner ASUS IDE DVD-ROM Win 7 64-bit Pro 21.5" LG and 15" Dell
The netbook on the right combined with rosewill draft-n (300, but really only 100 via LAN) router, RD, logmein, orb, and streammygame makes for a nice make-shift client for my desktop for pretty much anywhere.
(click for larger) Surround sound (old regent 140w with new speakers) held up with sticky tack
Planned upgrades: 6GB+ ram Sata 6Gb/s SSD boot drive ASUS U3S6 card that fits nicely in the PCI-E 4x slot on most new ASUS mobos. Though it would be faster still in a 16x since the 4x isn't v2.0 and the 16x is. Noctua NH-U12P SE2 Still seems to be one of the best air coolers out there and I really don't think that I'll need any liquid system. Though I'll take any recommendations into consideration. USB 3.0 case for the WD By the time I get to it, new Nvidia DX11 cards will be out so I'll think about video then.

If you can find a retailer with one in stock.. this beats the Noctua for less... Akasa Nero. unfortunately, their stateside presence is pretty weak..

you win thus far. hands down. the springy cord is great for watching tv cuz you can go far away, then come back, and it practically winds itself up!
