Last I used it, there was still ink (black and color) in it and I'll include the USB cable. Hell if you're nice I might even throw in the power supply for free.
There is nothing wrong with it, if you'd like I can have it set up and print something with it. Since my room is small and desk space is sparse, I got a wireless printer for x-mas to set across the room. I was still using the C4180 up till then. PM me if you're interested in stopping by to look at it.

If you REALLY want to know how old they are I can pull them down from the closet and take them out of their boxes to find the manufacturer date, but unless you are seriously considering, I won't bother.
The only things wrong with them are that they only have VGA inputs and that theres two of them.
I finally made the transition to using only my laptop after 3 years at this school of switching between my desktop and laptop for work. Now I just have a 23" Asus monitor with HDMI.

Bit hard to do - I'm in St. Charles for this semester and KC for the summer.
Did you ever print any mid-sized pictures on it? I'm looking for a printer than can print a credit-card-sized picture very well. (Up till now, I've been considering doing a Walmart rental )
