I'm looking for a good wiki applicaiton. I really like dokuwiki, but it is file based, not database driven, which is not feasible for me since my hosting has no storage limit, but a file count limit (like 500k files, but you'd be surprised how fast they add up with 20 or 30 php scripts installed on one account)
So basically I'm looking for something simple and awesome looking/feeling like docuwiki, but not as intense and complex as mediawiki.
Has anyone messed with wikis at all? I would really like there to be some ajax functionality in it as well.
I've dabbled with TiddlyWiki, which is entirely client-side Javascript controlled.
It works well with S&T webspace, though. Doesn't work when you want to provide full collaborative and editing capabilities a wiki is supposed to provide.

I have used PMWiki. Its ok for the purposed I used it for. Pretty customizable. Dunno how it will work for you as I have no file limit but I have a space limit(albeit a large one).
