I'm building a raid array on old hardware. I built an amazing system of amazingness of literal piles of junk:
Code:
Dual Ahlon MP 1500+, 2 GB DDR400, 5x200gb IDE Raid 5, 1x80gb IDE Boot, 3dfx Voodo3 2000 from 1999 (best video card ever made), 3ware HW raid Card / 8 IDE channels, HP Workstation xw4100 case modified to fit non-HP ATX board and PSU, and 1xMassCool 2x5.25" to 3x3.25" + cooling fan bay adapter, 1 500watt UV glowing $20 PSU from 2003 of unknown oriental brand.
I would like to fill it up with working, used 200 gig ATA133 IDE drives. If you have one that works and has SMART parameters within guidelines, please respond. Keep in mind that I'm trying to do this cheaply as thus far I haven't spent $1 on the system.
I'm also looking for a PCI-X (64 bit double link width PCI bus) Gigabit Ethernet card to put in this machine.
