Well if you know of some other plan where you can get 2 lines with 1400 mins, unlimited texting, and smartphone data packages for a hundred bucks (total) I'd love to hear your far superior option.
I was a little skeptical of just how much the whole antenna issue would impact usability of the device. In my (albeit very limited) testing it has yet to be an issue. I hold it the same way I hold any other phone - what many are calling the "death grip", and haven't lost bars. Maybe Rolla & Chesterfield just have fantastic reception. I do plan on getting a silicone case for it though - Its so slick I'm afraid it would just slide right out of my pocket (same goes for any other high end smartphone), so the antenna issue doesn't apply to me specifically (but that doesn't make it okay for Apple to pretend it doesn't exist).
And I really hate sounding like a fanboy (I really don't like Apple), but this is a damn fine device.

How are you getting 2 lines w/ all that for $100 from att?

I mentioned that I had access to a ~50% discount on AT&T. That's how I got a normally $170 plan for a lot less. The discount only applies to one of the phones:
50% * $80 for line one of 1400 min family plan +50% * $30 unlimited family messaging +50% * $25 2gb smartphone data + $10 second line of 1400 min family plan + $25 2gb smartphone data = $102.50

And how exactly did you come across this sort of discount? I've been working for att for a few months now, and I've never seen a 50% discount applied to anything. 20%, maybe, but 50%? Never.

Where do you work at in AT&T? I work for AT&T in IT, and I get the 50% discount. It's called the EMO discount (don't remember what it stands for though).

I suppose I should have been more specific... I've been working for a company called Convergys, whichs processes customer care calls for att... I don't have service with att, so I don't care too much for the discount. I just haven't come across it while taking calls. I was just curious about the origins of the 50% discount.

Those of us with the discount are transferrred to reps who work for AT&T, that's probably why you haven't heard of it at Convergys. At least for billing questions. I'm not sure who we're transferred to for technical help as I've never had to call in for that.

Best deal I found was T-Mobile @ $120/mo. As a bonus, unlimited data with T-Mobile truly means unlimited data. No invisible caps. Plus, the Even More Plus plans can be cancelled at any time without penalty. No insider-access 50% discount required either! The downside is that most T-Mobile phones suck - the best phone that works with T-Mobile is the Nexus One which can't be purchased through T-Mobile.
