Hey guys, I'm leaning on the seek network to help bail me out of a jam. My Fiance and I are looking to move to rolla by the start of the school year and can't seem to find an apartment. Investment has already hosed us once, and is out of options, Brown is a longshot, so now we're looking for other realtors in the Rolla/St. James/Vichy/Phelps County area.

We need a 2 bedroom place that's small dog friendly. Washer/Dryer/dishwasher would be super, but at this point we're really just shooting for not a total fucking shithole.

Anyone that tips me off to a good place gets a night at the grotto on me, and fresh baked goods by my fiance.

Check over by the Junior High, there's some apartments... Independent Realty is the name (now IIRC)

Give Barb Wilkins at Spring Properties a call. See if she has any availability. We had a small pet-friendly one bedroom for cheap.

I know a Bob Anderson that works for a small rental firm that i can't think of the name to, but the number is 573-364-5009

Also, Dale Wands has a few rentals, but I don't know if any are vacant. I believe his number is (573) 364-1985.

Last time I checked, Brown Rentals had lots of vacancies in the Northbrook area, however they are a bit pricey ($550-$700 /mo). At least most are pet friendly.

There are at least 2 other private renters, but I've never done business with them and don't have their information.

Good luck, I was in that same situation 3 years ago with 2 cats instead of a small dog. It worked out for me, you'll do ok.

Congratulations ShadowCat, you win beer. And cake. Or Pie. Or both. I don't care, because Bob was able to find us a great place, and we're moving in tommorow! I"m on the road through September, anytime after that and I'll make good on my reward!

Nope, but we checked that place out. If you wanna clean with sledgehammers it's the place for you.

Actually, that is the kind of place I'm looking for.
