I don't know if ya'll have considered the gophone option. If you go to an att corporate store they should be able to hook her up with a new sim for free, then you could get a decent gophone for 50 to 75 bucks, and not just the shitty nokia candybar thing. They should have some samsung flip phones and qwerty keyboard models for that sort of price range. You can then take the reassigned sim and pop it into the gophone and it'll work with her same number and contract and features. idk what type of phone you were looking for, but I work for ccare (shit sucks) and ppl get gophone replacements all the time. It's a cheap alternative to an early upgrade and she gets a new phone instead of a used one. And if she calls in to ccare, they might issue a credit to help compensate for the cost of a gophone, depends on the rep you talk to and if they're having a good day or not. I know I would, but that's because I'm awesome.
