Built me a new case by hand. The top picture was taken with no ambient lights on and no flash. Thankfully I have analog on/off/dimmer swtiches for the lot of em.

Wow. I notice it seems you are using about 21 molex connections there. What kind of PSU is that?

600w Powertek PSU had 8 molex connectors and 2 floppy connectors, so i added 1 floppy pass-through and 1 molex "y" connector. The CCFLs are in pairs with have pass-through connectors, and the fans are running off my Thermaltake Hardcano9 (which eats 2 molex).

The front could use a little work matching the drives to something, but other than that, nice case. I wish "I" had a clear case and 4 HDs... of course I'm not sure why I would need them.

$65 for case materials, $32 for PSU, $20 for 4 cathodes, everything else I already had.

Just curious... But why do you need 560gb of hard drive space? I mean... That's a fucking shit-ton of porn.

You should try hot-rodding some of those HP 715s next. Bonus points if you can redesign the keyboard/mouse interface to use AT or PS/2 logic.

More bonus points if you can get a legal copy of HP-UX for free.

Edit: I also forgot, I have two HPs at my house, and a monitor and keyboard and mouse for each of them. I'm only missing the scsi hard drive and cd rom from one of them, other than that I have two of those. Once I start messing around with *nix systems, I'm gonna try to get them up and running down here.
