Is it me or does this thing totally suck? I get it to work except for the ln(x)-1 values are off by a really small amount. Any suggestions?

Compile and run on a different server, and/or use double-precision variables. See what you get.

Try the intro machines rather than the gpunix machines, or vice versa.

How much is a "small amount"? Remember what you're dealing with, and you'll never get "exact" answers with computers.

Is it around or less than 0.01 off? Because it sounds close enough to me. You'll never get the same answer your calculator will (different precision, alg, and/or order of ops), and as long as the values are consistantly "close" you won't have a problem. If you're really worried about it, then just change the precision of the outputted display (although, I can't remember if it rounds - I never use those functions).

Change the percision and decimal points. As much as that must suck though, try out our current program in 53 http://web.umr.edu/~mhell/cs53/homework/h7.html. That sieve thing is beating the piss outta me.

HOLY CRAP!! You all are seriously writing a prime number seive in CS 53? That's awesome...ok you don't get it...

It's awesome because I got bored and started doing the same thing in Fortran yesterday. For fun. For something to do. And because I was tired of looking up lists of primes off of a website.

In any case, that's awesome.
