Playing around in AutoCAD while pretending to work. Browsing seek42 while pretending to work. Playing games online while pretending to work. And every once in a while, actually working.

they monitor computer usage pretty strictly at NASA, so i mostly bring up a python or PVwave window... then fall asleep while intently studying an acoustic spectrum graph.

then i go home and practice my mad chef skills. i can now actually saute vegetables by throwing them into the air and catching them in the pan, as well as flipping pancakes and such by flinging them into the air. i also spend a lot of time cleaning the underside of the ventilation hood over the stove.

Finished my Hyrule shield at the beginning of summer. Cleaned out my comp. Stealing roadsigns (its a hobby and a collection). Getting ready for a trip to the east coast. Also taking up golfing. This summer hasn't been too bad.

Umm... I've been working.

A lot.

Too bad most of my paychecks thus far have been spent before I got them. That's the problem with having bills to pay. =(

We lost all of our street signs last summer (30 years worth) :(. It's funny when you wake up at 2AM to a cop jabbing a super bright maglite in your face saying:

Policía!
Policía!

I've only taken signs that have been tossed or where it doesnt matter if they are there or not. I dont think I can fit 30 signs in my place.

Working in New Mexico, doing a lot of backpacking and leading groups of scouts around Philmont. Every once and a while, reading the forums, no matter what the damn admin tries to do to mess up the computers out here.

I've done nothing but babysitting, hang with friends, and try to find creative ways to get to Rolla to see the bf...heh...

Working at the hell-hole I call Six Flags Elitch Gardens. We get somewhat good benefits (free admission to any Six Flags and some other events including concerts and movies), but they treat us like shit. I get paid pretty crappy for only working 30 hours a week, seeing as I worked almost 40 hours a week last year with a lower rate and made more money. At least I may get a scholaship from them, so it isn't all bad. Oh, and also putting up with my family telling me to clean my room, cut my hair, yada yada yada...

My roommate is there as well, doing the same thing. Interesting...

I've probably run into him, we've got at least 5 people from UMR out here, 4 in the Ranger Dept. (Where I'm at), and the 5th is somewhere in the backcountry. Who is he?
