I went on a cruise to the bahamas a couple of years ago with my family and have to say that I would definatley not reccomend it to anyone. I would much prefer going to an all inclusive island/mexican resort. Sure they do water down the booze at all of these resorts and serve the most god awful liqour available, but it is plentiful and thats all that really matters when your on a vacation. Plus every cruise that I have every been on has been totally lame, such as kicking me out of the bar for not being 21 in international waters of all places. I thought they had an entire episode of the simpsons about doing whatever you want in international waters. Correct me if im wrong.

Is everything about a vacation supposed to center around booze, monteezy? You can get drunk any time at home. Why not do something else on a vacation? Sure it's nice to drink a bit to relax, but you make it sound like that's the only basis you judge a vacation by...

BTW, I'm pretty sure any M/S class cruise liner is technicnically U.S. soil onboard in terms of regulations, and the U.S. Coast Guard has the authority to back that up. There were quite a few Coast Guard officers with kevlar vests and various weapons onboard our cruise, and they looked ready if the shit ever hit the fan. It kind of contradicted the stereotype I had about what the Coast Guard did.

Considering that the original post was about smuggling booze onto a cruise ship, I chose to center my discussion mostly (well totally) about the boozing aspect of a vacation. And btw, but my idea of relaxing involves getting canned by the pool. Not so much horseback riding, parasailing, watersking, or all the other lame things I did when I was 10 years old.
