Ok. So I walk into my first day of T/R Believer's Dynamics, and I get hit with 6 pages of equations in 45 minutes. I've got MacSigith, and he says that he's "never had any trouble with the material" and frankly that kinda scares me.

Is it worth switching to a M/W/F section to get Christensen instead, keeping in mind I've already missed 2 of his classes? Is he any better? Or do I just need to bite down and take the class as it's dealt?

MacSigith is great. He is a genious and has a hard time conveying his knowledge (sometimes very hard) but if you get everything written down and can study it a bit later, you will do fine on the tests (especially if you go to the review sessions .. hint hint). I learned alot in the class and did well.

Thanks. Today was my second day of class, and I now know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will be spending some major time on this class.

We'll see how it goes. Thanks.

Yeah, Christensen is great. Never had MacSithigh, but I've talked to him and yeah, he's too smart to teach, doesn't see what people don't understand. Christensen gives a lot of homework, and it's kind of hard, but the tests are really easy. He's a good teacher, too.

christenson? that guy sucked! what was the deal with his "2 for 1 homework" days!??! asshole!

also he graded all his tests with "a key". if you didn't do what the key did, you lost points. i lost 12 points because, basically, i didn't have sum forces in the x direction = 0 written at the beginning of the problem. but since there were no forces present in the x direction, and my answer correctly stated that the acceleration was in the y direction with a j-hat, i lost a letter grade because it did not follow the key. when i asked him about it basically he said "sounds like you have a problem with the answer key and not me"... whatever d-bag

Ummmm..... yeah....... I think that's true in a lot of classes. In fact, if if you take the grades to be a standardized bell curve (as teachers used to do) then 9/10 of the people in a class will get a B or below.
