So, who's going to see the sound and the fury this friday at the puck? I think EVERYONE should go. You can check out their music at http://www.thesoundandthefury.com
Good concert. I'm glad i went. The room was pretty much empty too...only about 1/4 of it had people in it. Their covers of Tool and The Rolling Stones were especially good.

i never heard of them before. they are better than alot of bands, but needless to say they were somewhat lackluster. They had great songs that couldve led up to fast bridges, that ended up slowing down again, very anti-climatic. They are kings of the head bobbing bullshit, but i was really in the mood to mosh. The tool cover of AEnima was one of the best i have ever heard. Which made it funny cuz i was wearing my tool shirt. Overall good performance, but couldve used some more speed.
I agree. Their music was nice and rocky, but it lacked any crescendo (sp?). Most songs began and ended exactly the same. I did, however, have a great time.

They weren't too bad. The vocals sucked a bit but it sounded like equipment problems because the guitars were drowning out his voice
And you sir are an idiot. The vocals were the only thing that saved them from being boring and monotonous. Granted the vocals sounded just like Maynard, but the songs were all the same tempo and mediocre at best. If the speakers had been facing the audience and not just straight back then the vocals would have been much more prominent.
It was a good show, even if TSATF didn't bring their A-Game (even them playing sub-par, in my opinion, is better than 90% of the crap you hear on the radio). But, really, can you blame them? There looked to be around 30 people there and all but four of them were just standing around with a blank stare (although it was funny when everyone tried to clap and couldn't keep beat with the drums).

They defenitly weren't a great band.....but they were decent, and the concert was free! They do have some potential....they just need to work on their songwriting IMO.
BTW i lisetned to the Tool version of Aenima and The Sound and the Fury version sounded alot better IMO.
