Does anyone else play disc golf?
And if so, are there any courses nearby?

I played last year. We just threw around campus and called out holes as we felt needed. Here are a few examples:

-Stonehenge
-Signs on random buildings
-FedEx boxes under the McNutt Lounge
-Flag Poles
-The Puck
-etc.

It was quite fun, and no one seemed to care. Just a suggestion.

I'm up for playing if you got a n00bish group to play with.

I'd love to get a group together sometime. Aiming for random stuff is often more fun than having a real course anyway. Drop me a message if you'd be interested, I have three or four general-purpose discs that people could use.

I've got a couple old chewed-up discs that work alright for shorter stuff. I also got a bunch of regular b's if we need them. Drop me an IM or something if you hear soemthing.

Id definately play, i dont have any of my discs though. We should make a course, make a standard so we can posts scores and what not

What's it take to get an official club started here? Perhaps that's something to look into.
I like the idea of mapping out a course from stuff around campus. We could even get one of those practice baskets so that we can put it wherever we want.

Sounds Hella fun. never played myself but i do play golf and frisbee. though the combination of the two ... eh who know. Im in if thats cool.

just start thinking about holes you would like and we can put together a course, and someone who can draw can make a course map.

Or we could just hang out and play. i don't know about you, but I don't need a really regimented schedule.

I'm going to just set a time, be there if you can, if not then we'll do it again next week at another time that's more convenient for everyone. I'll be at the table in front of the north elevators of TJ at 7:30 or so tomorrow, which is Wednesday. Meet me there if you'd like. We can find a good place to throw around a bit and figure out how much structure everyone wants or just the general level of interest in continuing this sort of thing at all.
