Is anyone else besides myself sick of walking around the ME/H-SS buildings just to get to some place like the library? I'm sure they're working as fast as they can and doing a great job  Couldn't that have been done earlier before the fall semester. Also, either the girl walking in front of me shit her pants or they were distributing cow manure all over the place in their "construction area". I''ve got a good idea while they are building all of this shit......How bout a parking garage

I don't know... I was walking around the library, and I'd catch a whiff of the unmistakable sweet\fruity smell of decaying sewage. I think it's a drain, or the stuff they are spreading around. The third time I smelled it was during class hours, so it couldn't have been someone around. And I know it wasn't me.

I try to hose off at least once a week. Although if it rains this can be put off longer.

low ball estimates are $10,000 per spot, that s a little high...we would never get our money back because the structures don't last all that long Then there is the whole "rolla doesn't have a parking problem" Heaven forbid we have to walk a couple of blocks to get to class!!! I was at Cal State Longbeach this summer and we walked 10 blocks to get where we were going on campus from a "close VIP" parking space...I think we should just suck it up...

My original point on the parking is the fact that I see the same cars that sit there day after day. Parking needs to be freed up near the campus for those that have to commute everyday. The majority of the cars there have been sitting there since the beginning of this semester.

Well a lot of the people that do park there day to day are the people that live in the dorms. I don't use my car too often, so I don't really have a problem with parking a little ways away, but there isn't any free parking for me to do this. Its unfortunate for people who do commute, but until I have a place where I can park my car and feel relatively secure in the knowledge that it isn't going to be broken into, I'm just going to leave it for weeks on the side of the road.

No kidding. I think it's worse this year because it seems like the majority of those people don't know how to park closer than 3/4 of a car length to the cars in front of and behind them. It's annoying how many wasted parking spots there are outside of Civil that aren't going to be freed up thanks to some douchebag dormie.

There are more streets in Rolla than the ones along the side of Civil, EE, and ERL. You and the rest of the dormies who don't need their cars for weeks at a time should try parking along one of those.

Well, last year, the pipes by Comp Sci would emit that steam that smells like shit, and they have those ripped up. But ya, that entire area smells like shit. Comp Sci is spreading....

Hey my gf is in CompSci...

Not here of course, there actually aren't any girls here. Its all part of the tech department. They're working on holograms and testing it first on gullible [and girl-needy] college students. Stick it.
