I'm taking circuits with Dr. Shrestha and I'm not learning a thing in his class. So to help with the homework I went and looked for the solutions manual but far as I can tell it doesn't exist. The publishing company doesn't seem to have any information on it.
At any rate I remembered seeing a post on ratemyprofessor.com saying that the solutions were on seek but I haven't found them.
shrestha is hard as fuck. i got like a 95% in 151 w/ Alt, then the next semester BARELY pulled a C w/ shrestha for 153. when i say barely, i mean my 4 test scores were like 55, 60, 59, and 66 and somehow (i really have no idea how) i did well enough on the final so my semester grade was a C.
he can teach, and you do learn a lot, but (imho) he just expects way too much out of the students.
I assume that he demonstrates his inability to teach when the material isn't as...logical? Cus right now, I think he's doing a pretty good job. Maybe he's changed his ways, because I've never had any sort of circuits related classes in my life, and I've got a good grade.
Well, when he goes on for 40 minutes about what movies he likes and how he used to smoke but doesn't anymore after 25 yrs. And then rushes through an entire lecture in 10min... that pisses me off. Plus if you ask him what measurements a certain number he didn't label is in he will go for 5 min. about what units it is in and why we honor somebody for their discovery. And I have a good grade in there but that is because I am teaching myself.
