My car has recently spun a rod bearing so I plan on doing this swap within the month of Sept.

i have a 90 gsx and a 91 talon.
i am mechanically savy.
i am particularly familiar with dsm's.
i want to make some $$$.

but i have almost no time, but i don't mind a few questions (please note i said a FEW).

my base opinion is don't do it unless you absolutely must have a turbo. it is going to be a LOT of work. there are going to be tons of things you will need, which equals $. if this is your driver, it's not worth it. if this is a race car, it might be ok.

this is one of those things you get halfway into and say "i wish i hadn't done this".

I have a 93 Eclipse...I know how to work on my own car (needs front ball joints soon)

I also have a '92 Laser as a parts car...has a very good engine, but wrong size for me.

Lee I would definetely be interested in helping you with your car. I emailed you earlier today. I will give you a call tomorrow and see what you think. No direct experience with DSM's but am rather mechanically savvy.
