I watched a segment on Fox News last night that really caught my attention. There is a liberal prof. in California that believes that illegal mexicans add an additional 300+ billion dollars to our national economy. He also wants all illegals to be granted citizenship. He believes that if all illegals were to one day simply "disappear" it would cause an instantaneous collapse of our national economy. His bullshit movie was released today.

What a douche. Apparently he didn't take into consideration the tax dollars being wasted on educating and imprisoning illegals every year. It would be cheaper to increase the border states' guard personnel and shoot the little fuckers as they cross the Rio Grande.

If you've never lived in a border state don't post any PC bullshit, you've never experienced the plague that is illegal mexicans.

I don't know, it might be even, though I'd say we probably spend more on them than they contribute. They DO contribute, mostly to farming. They save farmers quite a bit on labor, other than that they don't really provide anything.

You know, Bush also mentioned making the illegals citizens. I think the best thing would be to increase our border "security", but make it somewhat easier to get a LEGAL visa in to the US. We also need to kick out illegals. However, we only do that if they are known to be dangerous.

If they were to all disappear, our economy would NOT collapse. However, there would be a lot of non-desireable job positions to fill (farm labor at $3 an hour, cleaning, etc). Thats why we SHOULD allow some in (but not as illegals, under legal visas), but right now its pretty much open borders.

If border patrol shot my great grandaddy, I wouldnt be here. If you dont like illegals, then move north. Because they're coming either way.

They're moving north, they've saturated the border states, so now they're moving up, it's a fucking infestation.

The same thing happend in Germany in the 60's. They started allowing Turkish immigrants to work the lessor jobs. But they never put a stop to it. Now Germany is overrun with those bastards.

I also saw on the news that a 13 year old Texan has ran away from his home where his daddy molests him. Rumor has it he is hiding in the Lamda Chi house in UMR where he posts racist bullshit on internet forums.

Reason stated for running away? His sister refused to be his date to the ice cream social in favor of his cousin.

I don't know why everyone gets so pissed off about having immigrants (legal or illegal). The illegal immigrants do the jobs no one else wants to do and they do them very cheaply. They don't cost us welfare becuase you need a valid social security number to get (granted you can steal one but eventually the US gov't sees 7 social security numbers all getting welfare and they investigate). And as far as I can see it we need more people in this nation. The national birth rate is hovering just below the number needed to sustain the current population. When the population drops low enough we will have to send more jobs over seas which will decrease the strength of the nation by having to depend on other nations, which I really don't like having to do what little of it now. Plus we need as many intelligent people to stay over here as possible after they are educated. A growing number of US students as foriegners over here of student visas and then they take that education back to their home nation instead of getting a job here and contributing back to the US economy. But thats just my opinion.

Anyways, who the hell cares if illegal Mexicans are coming to the US? Not to stereotype or anything, but most of the illegal immigrats work in fast food and the landscaping industry. You're here at UMR getting an education to allow you to get a much better paying, more important job. The last thing you should be worried about are illegal immigrants taking your important engineering job or whatever. Now if you drop out of college and can't find a job at McDonalds because all the Mexicans have them, well then that's your problem for quitting college.

i dont really mind immigrants in our country. i believe if they do want to become cititzens, they should do it the legal way and take the "test." seems more fair that way.
