Looking to play some Halo this weekend, but living on 5 south usually leads to getting pwned hard by the Haloers here.

I'd be up for a little Halo this weekend. I'm good but not great.

I'm alright on Halo for the xbox, not great. Been playing on the pc so diminshed my skills a little. I'm up for playing also.

okay, we can really play anywhere I guess, I can bring my xbox anywhere, but I only have two controllers, and the game disc.

llama man, did you ever find out if the Altman network works for Halo?

and does anyone have a hub, or are there some people on the same floor that want to use LAN to play?

I can bring my own s type xbox controller but thats it.

ive got a box, 3 controllers, a 50 foot ethernet cable, a hub, and POSSIBLY some neighbors that will still let me borrow their room, one of them was for it last weekend, but he was onyl one there, not sure who all will be there this weekend, my TV is only like 16" tho, and no idea if network here works with halo, far as i know no on else in altman plays halo...

Well if you guys know when you want to play, my house has been wanting to play lately. We have 5-6 xbox's and several TV's. I have a 32", another guy has a 27" and then we have several 19-22" all over the house. Most of the guys are new to halo, I used to play back in high school a lot, but that was a while ago. I am pretty decent though.

Hows about Saturday evening. I hate mornings for gaming. I can bring a controller or two if they're needed.


Ok, I for one like obscure matches. 1-hit shotguns, 1-hit snipers, 400% sheilds rockets, oddball matches, huge capture the flag matches, ghost battles (can't kill people that arent in a ghost), grenades only (go on the honor system in a pistols match. everyone has the plasma pistol out, that way if you acidentally shoot, it doesnt do as much damage) and any other random things. We can also play some regular games.

I'm not exactly sure on when we can play. We have homecoming stuff happening later that night, so I think we'd have to start around 5-6pm til whenever. I'll talk to our events chair and find out what the schedule looks like.

Okay, it looks like the best time to play at my house Saturday is from 11:30am - 5:00pm After that my house starts up our Homecoming Party.

I'd like to get a idea of how many people want to play then? We have plenty of Xbox's, you may want to bring a controller since we don't have 16 controllers for everone to play. A lot of the guys liked the idea and were up to playing.

We dont have to start at 11:30 though... we can start anytime between then. So I guess if your up to playing some Halo say so and lets see what we can get.

And I dont think we should vote on gametypes, we should just play all different kinds. Its not like its a tournement or anything. Just playing for fun.
