Basically, "she" starts singing before her lips move and the mic at her side.
In my opinion her recording contract should be ripped up. If you can't perform live without lip-synching then get out of the way for someone that actually has talent.
watch the video clip. Ashlee isn't even singing, her voice starts, on the wrong song, before she is supposed to start singing. I'm not an Ashlee fan, in fact, I've never even heard her music so I don't know which two songs got mixed up, but the pre-recorded vocals start playing while her band was playing the wrong song..

My favorite thing about Ashlee is that she had a number 1 album and was getting ready to start her tour and said something along the lines of, "Okay, time to go meet my band."
It is so disappointing how low our (people other than me) standards are. I have no doubt that she thinks of herself as a real musician. How can you have a number 1 album, with a band playing on it (I guess), and have no idea who they are. Actually, the album music was probably made up of studio musicians and then they had to find a band that fit the image that Ashlee was going for....the anti-Jessica.
One more thing to think about....
You know how she is all about not being like Jessica and getting out of her shadow. Well, if it wasn't for her show on MTV, I doubt she would enjoy the success that she does now. So she had a show on MTV just like her sister, directly after her sisters...IN HER SHADOW if you will. I guarantee if her show was on another night and not after her sister's, not nearly as many people would have watched. So like it or not girl, you are just like your sister and still in her shadow.

I think the whole blaming the band for playing the wrong song is a load of crap. I mean they just played that other song like 30 minutes before. Are we supposed to honstly believe that they are so stupid that they were like, oh let's play our one song that we played 30 minutes ago. I think the more likely scenerio is that all of the sound was taped and the band as well as ashley was just faking the whole thing. Then the dumb little bitch gets out there at the end of the show and blames it all on her band. Man I'm sure they feel like some assholes for seeming so unbelievably stupid.

I made my last post before I got a chance to watch the video. My God, is that for real?
I guarantee that the band wasn't even supposed to really be playing. Did you hear how low in volume their instruments were right after the tape stopped playing. They had to turn up so they could be heard once the tape stopped. And the drums are 100 percent acoutsic and not through the sound system.
What a perfect (and pathetic) example of today's talented musical industry...

It just makes me wish I didnt change the channel. I flipped to Comedy Central after Weekend Update. I always flip to something diferent when the musician is some stupid pop singer like Ashlee. Then i didnt watch the end.
Damn, did she actually try to blame it on the band? I think any inteligent person can see that it was a prerecorded tape. If she come out and says "the band started playing the wrong song" i'd want to ask, "then why did you start "singing" (with quote fingers)?" That one is going down in the record books.
I also enjoy the cut off to a picture of who I think is Jude Lawe (sp?) but the feauxhawk is throwing me off.
I love this so much Ive already watched it five times while typing this. Look again and you can see the guitarists laughing at her. HAHAHA
