So some of the people in the senate committee who are charged with investigating the oil for food scandal are now calling for the resignation for Kofi Annan. I gotta say that I agree with this move. I mean if the UN was a business and it was found out that billions of dollars of aid were redirected to Saddam's pocket under Annan's watch, he at the very least is ignorant of his organization if not culpable himself. In addition his son has been on the take for the last 5 years in a business deal that violated the oil for food program. If the UN wants to keep our business as the largest contributor, they'd better get this straightened out or we can just call them the League of Nations part deux.

what you fail to see is that the american public voted the presidents in and they liked at the time. Kofi tries to have to much to do with the US for a liar and a cheat that US doesn't even like.

Since when did the head of an organization which writes resolutions that aren't worth the paper they're printed on become such an obstacle? oh wait...I forget, The UN is still trusted in most parts of the world. They need more model UN programs, to see first hand how great this beaureucracy is.
