Has anyone setup fetchmail off campus. If so how did you do it? Do I need so use ssh tunneling?

thanks.

this seems to be working for me, i haven't done enough reading or setup to know what to do AFTER this, but the emails are definitely being downloaded to ~/.maildir/new
Code:
fetchmail -p IMAP -ak --ssl -u bjk4hf -m "/usr/bin/procmail -d %T" minermail.umr.edu

the way i understand it, if you have an MTA running locally then you can leave off the -m "/usr/blah/blah" and it will just connect to the smtp server running on localhost.

edit: i know it says im posting from comp sci, but im doing the fetching from my own pc on fidnet. oh, and make sure you change bjk4hf to your own userid or you won't get very far.

edit2: changed the -a to -ak, otherwise it'll delete messages from the server by default. i dont know about you, but thats NOT what i want.
