Someone posted about a firewall that was supposed to come into effect on campus over break.. just wondering what the status on this is.. whether it's happened or not, or if anyone knows anything further about it. I'm living in the palace, so I'm not on the network myself.. but I'm curious because I will be on the network whenever the RC is done.. and I think the firewall being in place could actually affect the entire city's bandwidth

Hell no it hasn't happened, and if it has it's not working for shit. I'm lucky to ping < 500 in any game I play, much less load any website in a reasonable amount of time.
